Immigration and Population: Union Minister receives UNRCO delegation

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received a delegation led by the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim in Myanmar Mr. Ramanathan Balakrishnan at his Ministry office in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

During the meeting, they cordially exchange views on cooperation activities, status of cooperation between the Ministry and UNFPA for population and household census activities, implementation of decisions made in the previous meetings, plan to provide assistance to the ministry's census activities, plan to visit Myanmar by Thailand-based UNFPA Asia-Pacific Regional Director, and future coordination plans for the census activities.
