Immersive art installation "Field of light" lands in New York

Some 19,000 lowlights illuminate a vacant lot in the heart of Manhattan, like colorful stems blooming into a field of lights.

British artist Bruce Munro presents his large-scale art project "Field of Light" in New York, installed for one year.

"It's a very gentle experience", he explains, "and everybody will hopefully leave it with a warm heart and a smile on the face".
