Two Airbus A400M transport aircraft leave for Libya late on 14 September carrying aid supplies following deadly flooding in the northeast of the country. The German Air Army and the Technische Hilfswerk (THW), the disaster relief arm of the German Interior Ministry sent around 30 tons of THW aid supplies.

The aircraft, which took off from Wunstorf in Germany, were loaded with 100 tents with lighting, 1,000 cots, 1,000 blankets, 1,000 mattresses, 1,000 water filters and 80 electrical generators. The two flights landed in Al Abraq airport, in eastern Libya.
