ILO DG & Nepal’s President discuss Social Justice Development

Director-General of International Labour Organization, Gilbert F. Houngbo, paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel, who is currently in Geneva Switzerland, for the High-Level event of the 112th International Labour Conference and the Inaugural Session of the Global Coalition for Social Justice.

On the occasion, President Paudel shared that Nepal had focused development giving priority to social justice. He reminded that Nepal’s constitution has finely mentioned the social justice, equality, right to labour, trade union rights. Similarly, Nepal is committed to protection and promotion of children rights. The ILO has been advocating for decent labour to create jobs, social security and international life standard.
