Illegal trade: industrial accessories, consumer goods, vehicles seized

An effective action is being taken to prevent illegal trade under the law supervised by the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.

22,500 kilogrammes of LG Chem Polyoletin Elastomer at the Asia World Container checkpoint on 28 July, and six items including 8,000 YR charging flashlights at Myanmar Industrial Port, eight kinds of goods including 210 Baowan Water Pumps at Nissan Tractor Head driving from Muse to Mandalay at milepost No 21 on the Mandalay-Muse Road were seized.

Therefore, the total number of arrests on 28 and 29 July are four cases (estimated value of K221,162,101), according to the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.
