Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, vehicles, teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 27th, 28th and 30th of April, illegal goods including used TVs, excavator and bulldozer spare parts as well as vehicles and teak worth over 158 million Kyats were confiscated in Hpa-an Township and at the Thanlwin bridge checkpoint, at the Asia World Container Checkpoint as well as in Taikkyi Township and at the Kyweye combined checkpoint and m in Mawlaik Township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
