Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, vehicle and timber seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

From the 6th to the 10th of March, illegal various kinds of goods including textile, unregistered motorbikes and vehicle as well as timber worth over 1 billion Kyats were confiscated at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port Terminal container checkpoint and at the 16th-Mile Kyaukchaw checkpoint as well as in Kalewa township,  Sagaing township, Homalin township and Kyauktaga township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
