Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, vehicle and teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 29th of March, illegal goods including dressing tables, compressor air filters, baby backpacks, foodstuffs and travelling suitcases as well as an unregistered vehicle and teak worth over 164 million Kyats were confiscated at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint, at the Ywathargyi Dry Port and at the Letpanhla-Singu temporary checkpoint as well as in Muse township, in Thingangyun township and Pyu township. 

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
