Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, timber and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 18th of April, illegal goods including wheel rim and timber as well as an unregistered vehicle and teak worth over 71 million Kyats were confiscated at the Yepu permanent checkpoint and in Daik-U, Pandaung, Paukkhaung, Bago, Pyu, Minhla, Shwedaung, Yedashe, Lepadan, Thayawady, Thaegon, Oktwin, Oakpho, Shwebo and Katha townships.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
