Illegal Trade Eradication:Illegal vehicle, teak and goods seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 14th and 15th of November, an unregistered vehicle, illegal teak, hardwood and timbers, and illegal goods including fertilizer and silicon sealant worth over 84 million Kyats were confiscated in Yenangyaung township, in Bago and Taungoo districts,at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
