Illegal Trade Eradication:Illegal vehicle, foodstuffs and timbers confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 4th, 6th and 7th of August, unregistered wheel loaders and vehicle as well as illegal teak, foodstuffs and timbers worth over 813 million Kyats were confiscated at the Nantsiaung combined checkpoint and in Thingangyun township as well as in Bago district, in Myawaddy township and in Myeiktownship. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
