Illegal Trade Eradication:Illegal timbers, vehicles and goods seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

From the 10th to 13thof November, illegal timbers and goods including solar batteries, illegal teak, rain boots, plastic scrap, wooden boats, palm oil, timbers, unregistered vehicles, teak and timbers worth over 340 million Kyats were confiscated in Yekyi township, in Thaboungtownship, in Taungootownship, at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port, at the Thilawa Port Terminal container checkpoint, in Kyunsu township, in Myeik township, in Tatkon Township, in Pwintphyu township, in Sedoktaratownship and in Ngaphe township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
