Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal vehicle, teak, goods & medicines seized

Under the supervision of the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 26th of December, an unregistered vehicle in Shwebo Township, illegal consumer goods in Hpa-an Township, illegal teak and timbers in Bago and Nuaunglaybin districts,bags of coal in Pwintphyu Township and illegal medicines at the Asia World Container Check point worth over 103 million Kyats were confiscated. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws and procedures.
