Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal timbers, vehicles and goods seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of September, illegal timbers, unregistered vehicles and illegal goods including porcelain plates, soy milk, energy drink, paint, plastic roll and used tyres worth over 340 million Kyats were confiscated in Ingapu township, in Dawei township and in Bokpyin township as well as on Muse-Mandalay road and in Hpa-an township and in Waingmaw township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
