Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal motorbikes, timbers and goods seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

From the 31st of October to the 2nd of November, illegal timbers, unregistered motorbikes and illegal goods including palm oil and hard wood worth over 245 million Kyats were confiscated in Ngaphe township, in Sittwe township, in Taungup township, in Maungtaw township, in Thandwe township, in Kyaukphyu township, at the Letpanhla-Singu temporary checkpoint and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint as well as in Ottarathiri township, in Waw township and inTaungoo township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
