Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over384 million Kyats confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July, illegal goods including 300 sets ofoffline UPS, 2,700 kilogrammes of food colourpowder, 1,330 kilogrammes of castor oil and jade beadsin various sizes worth over 384 million Kyats were confiscated in Bago Region and on the Mandalay-Lashio Road as well as at the Yepu permanent checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
