Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 636 million Kyats confiscated

Under the supervision of the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade. On the 13th and 14th of December, illegal goods including  woodenwardrobes, monosodium glutamate, locally refined diesel, premium diesel, meatgrinders, container at the AsiaWorld Port Terminal container checkpoint, illegal fuel oil and diesel worth over 636 million Kyats were confiscated in Mandalay Region, at the Milepost No. 45/3 on Mandalay-Singu Road, in Hlaingthaya township,in Insein township and in Mingaladon township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws and procedures.
