Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 631 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 15th, 19th and 20th of September, illegal goods including car tyres, transparent sheet, foodstuffs and construction materials worth over 631 million Kyats were confiscated at the Ywarthargyi dry port and in Shwepyitha Township, in Myeik Township and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
