Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 501 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.
On the 17th and 18th of October, illegal goods including sterile diluent vaccine, vertical blue light sprayers, textile, plastic waterproof roll, engine cooling radiator, sets of Canon printer and shrimp worth over 501 million Kyats were confiscated on the Yangon-Mandalay expressway, at the Myanmar Industrial Port and at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint as well as in Bhamo township, in Muse township, at the Thanlwin bridge combined checkpoint and in Mudon township.
Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
