Illegal Trade Eradication :Illegal goods worth over 184 mln Kyats confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 7th of August, illegal goods including polypropylene rope, cement ceiling board, dried tea, vapes, spray nozzle head, remote control microphone and blower spare part worth over 184 million Kyats were confiscated in Inlaymyaing Industrial Zone in Myeik township, in Myawaddy township, in Bhamo township and in Lashio township as well as at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint, at the Yepu permanent checkpoint and at the Yangon International Airport.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
