Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods, vehicles and timbers seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On October 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, illegal goods, unregistered vehicles, illegal timbers, Tramadol HCL capsules, Midozalam injection IP, bags of food wrap and illegal hardwood worth over 243 million Kyats were confiscated on the Yangon-Mandalay expressway, in Insein township, in Myitkyina township, in Minbu township, in Aunglan township, at the Myanmar Industrial Port,inTamu township, in Sagaing township, at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe)combined checkpoint and in Toungoo and Pyay districts.Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
