Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods, vehicle and teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 4th and 5th of October, illegal lead, an unregistered vechile, illegal teak, cooking oil, foodstuffs, trailer pumps, polyurethane adhesive, vinyl sticker, remote control toy cars and other consumer goods worth over 501 million Kyats were confiscated in Myeik Township, in Sagaing Township, in Taungoo District, in Myitnge Township, at the Myanma Industrial Port, at the Asia World Port Container Checkpoint, at the Mayanchaung Permanent Checkpoint and at the Ywarthagyi Dry Port.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
