Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods, teak and timbers confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 26th and 27th of November, illegal goods including oyster sauce, soy milk, unregistered tractor, illegal teak and timers, power cable and tubeless tyres worth over 636 million Kyats were confiscated in Hpa-An township, in Paungde township, in Bago and Taungoo districts and in Mandalay Region. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
