Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and vehicles confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 7th, 8th and 9thof August, illegal goods including black sesame seeds, nylon rope, fire hose wheel with cabinet, bolt and nut, perforated metal sheet, unregistered vehicles and crude oil worth over 10 million Kyats were confiscated at the 16th mile Kyaukchaw Checkpoint, at the Pauk Tine Checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port and at the Asia World Container Checkpoint as well as in Magway Township, in Ngape Township and in Chauk Township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
