Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and vehicles confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 26th and 27th of July, illegal goods including polyester fabric, softener, oyster sauce, Clasp sample and  sewing machines as well as unregistered vehicles worth over 219 million Kyats were confiscated in Indagaw township and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint and at the Yangon International Airport as well as on the Myawaddy- Hpa-an- Yangon Road and at the combined checkpoint in Tanaing township and in Mohnyin township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
