Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 4th and 5th of September, illegal goods including aluminium-coated packing material, automobile batteries, sprocket chains, stationeries, packing materials and PVC resin as well as illegal timbers and an unregistered vehicle worth over 359 million Kyats were seized at the Milepost 21/5 on Muse- Mandalay road, at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint, at the Hteedan Port and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint as well as in Kyunsu township and in Myeik township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
