Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 8th of July, illegal goods including photo papers, packs ofvermicide, glass bottles, bottles of Takasago limeessence and plastic cups as well as timbers, fabric softener, teak doors and an unregistered vehicle worth over 259 million Kyats were confiscated in the Myawaddy farming and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe)combined checkpoint, at the 16th-MileKyaukchaw checkpoint, at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint, at theYepu permanent checkpointand in Dagon Myothit(North) Township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
