Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 29th and 30th of June, illegal goods including carrots, agricultural machine spare parts, jade, teak, an unregistered vehicle and medicines worth over 136 million Kyats were confiscated in Myawaddy Township and at the Latpanhla-Singu temporary checkpoint and at the Yepu Permanent Checkpoint as well as in Bago and Taungoo districts and in Bago Township and at the PaukTine Bridge Checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
