Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and timber confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade. On the 19th, 22nd and 23rd of June, illegal goods including electrical equipment, Diesel Generating Set, timber, Automatic Transmission Filter and LED bulbsworth over 516 million Kyats were confiscated at the Oriental Toll Gate in Nawnghkio Township, near Sakagyi village of Nyaungdon Township,at Mayanchaung checkpoint and at the Hteedan port.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
