Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods and teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 10th of August, illegal goods including bags of corn, sparkling lime and fuel oil as well as an unregistered motorbike and illegal teak worth over 402 million Kyats were confiscated at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint, at the Asia World Terminal container checkpoint and at the Kyweye checkpoint as well as in Katha township and in Bago and Taungoo district.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
