ICT training: 4-day training for the staff in Kachin State

With the aim for practically applying modern electronic devices in the work site by the staffs in Kachin State, to enchance applying of ICT and understanding technological procedures and functions, the ICT training for the staffs was opended at the Kachin State Government Office on Monday.

At the opening ceremony, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that it is transforming into the e-Government system. The technology can support quickly and efficiently the government’s tasks and serving the people and can improve fulfilling the needs.

The Information and Communication technology (ICT) must be used to improve the interaction between the government and the people, the government and entrepreneurs as well as between the government departments to strengthen the ability to respond quickly and transparently.

He called for the staffs to practically apply the IT in the work flow. Later, the Secretary of the State Government reported plans to conduct the course with IT experts for the staffs to apply efficiently IT in making zoom meetings. The State Chief Minister then presented stationery to 23 trainees who would attend the 4-day ICT course from 16th to 19th January.

The course will conduct the use of Zoom Application, video conferencing, recording and how to connect with email to 23 staffs who are serving for the State COVID-19 prevention and control activities and the State Economic Promotion Fund supporting teams.
