Iceland's President-Elect Halla Tomasdottir Celebrated at Home

Continuing tradition, Iceland's president-elect Halla Tomasdottir was hailed at her home by supporters and others a day after her election victory.

Over 200 people gathered on Sunday to celebrate Tomasdottir’s win. In Iceland, it is customary for the newly elected president to be honored at their residence the day after the election.
