ICC chief prosecutor and Venezuela president sign agreement in Caracas

International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Karim Khan and Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro signed a memorandum of agreement in Caracas, where the ICC intends to open an office as part of an investigation into "crimes against humanity."

Khan said with the agreement, the ICC hopes to work "more closely" with Venezuela, and to help in the implementation of judicial reforms, guaranteeing "more justice" in the South American country.
