IAEA chief called on Iran to allow nuclear facility inspections

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency has reiterated his call for Iran to allow inspections of its nuclear facilities during a general conference of the organization. The IAEA General Conference started at its headquarters in Vienna, Austria on Monday.

The IAEA and Iran agreed last week on “practical modalities” for resuming inspections of nuclear sites in the country. IAEA Director General said in a speech that it is up to both his agency and Iran to implement the agreement, restore confidence and move forward.
