Hydrogen train test run

China's first independently developed hydrogen-powered urban train completed a test at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour on Thursday, marking a breakthrough in the application of hydrogen energy in rail transit.

The train is developed by Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. in Changchun, northeast China’s Jilin Province. The trial operation achieved full-system, full-scene and multi-level performance verification, marking a breakthrough in the application of hydrogen energy in the field of rail transit in China.
