





Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a global humanitarian leader and peace envoy, Indian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on 9th February.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciations to the Indian Gurudev for his visit to Myanmar. For his side, the Gurudev assured to provide requisite assistance for the peace and prosperity of Myanmar.
Then, both sides cordially discussed matters on changes of Myanmar’s political process through the time of Independence to date, internal armed conflicts raised by foreign interference, efforts for internal peace throughout successive eras, transition to democracy starting 2011 and taking the state’s responsibility by Tatmadaw in 2021 due to election frauds during the multiparty democracy general election.
The discussions also focused on the terrorist activities caused by political differences, efforts of the State Administration Council for the stability and development of the nation, mediation efforts of the Gurudev to ensure peaceful co-existence of countries across the world, assistance for achieving peace and stability in Myanmar as well as the arrangements for successful holding of the upcoming multi-party democracy general election.
After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Gurudev viewed the display of pictures in the Honourary Hall.
