Human Resource Development:Opening of refresher training course No. (1/2023)

The opening of the refresher training course No. (1/2023) for the deputy staff officers (Mechanical/Electrical) of the Department of Power Transmission and System Control (DPTSC) was held on Monday morning at the Central Training Center of Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the presence of Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun and other concerned officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister stressed that the training course is set to be conducted for 2 weeks with 50 trainees, intending for employees to learn about financial and material management, power operation and maintenance activities. As the Ministry of Electric Power is a department that provides services to the people, it is necessary to continuously distribute electricity which is essential for the basic needs of the people, he added.

He reiterated that when dealing with the public in the workplace, urgent services are needed to be provided to the public following the law, rule and the procedures. He urged all the trainees to use the knowledge gained through theoretical and practical aspects in workplace and to strive to become skillful citizens who can shoulder the national duties for the interest of the nation and the people.
