Human Resource Development: PPTT Course No. 9/2023 opened in Taunggyi

The Opening ceremony of Pre Primary Teachers Training (PPTT) Course No. 9/2023 of the Teacher Training Department was held at Taunggyi Education Degree Collage on Monday.

On the occasion, Shan State Chief Minister U AungZaw Aye delivered an opening speech saying that human resources are needed for the State’s education sector. Therefore, the Pre Primary Teachers Training (PPTT) course will be opened from 1st June to 11th August 2023 at the 25 Education Degree Collages of the Teacher Training Department.

Through the training, over 10,000 primary teachers will be turned out nationwide and over 500 will be nurtured in Shan State. There are altogether 255 trainees at Taunggyi Education Degree Collage, 25 at KengTung Education Degree Collage and 300 at Lashio Education Degree Collage.

Next, Vice Principal of Taunggyi Education Degree Collage made reports regarding the training course. Afterwards, students from Taunggyi Education Degree Collage who participated in the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition entertained with Mon and Pa-O ethnic cultural dances.

After that, the State Chief Minister presented cash assistance for the training course through the Vice Principal of the collage. The State Chief Minister and party then cordially greeted the trainees.
