Human Resource Development: Meeting with trainees of Maritime and Aviation Courses

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hliang met with the trainees and coaches of Basic and Advanced Maritime and Aviation Youth Training Courses in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

In his speech, the Senior General said during the tenure of the State Administration Council, one of the objectives for social affairs is set “To promote multiple education systems in order to produce the necessary human resources for building a modern developed democratic nation”.

The government is striving for human resource development of the country through the efforts for promoting the morale of youths, flourishing of national spirit and willingness to cooperate with team spirit. In this way, the country could achieve development in the future with the concerted efforts of the qualified human resources.

He continued that the training courses have been conducted to turn out the student youths who are skillful in maritime and aviation industries.

During the 4-week training period, the basic military training was also conducted in addition to knowledge on maritime and aviation subjects. He stressed that it is needed to build a union spirit through friendship and unity among the youths that have been achieved by attending the training courses. He urged all to be loyal to the country and to become a reliable generation in the future.

The Senior General later gave commemorative gifts to the trainees who inturn presented courtesy gifts. Representatives from the Maritime and Aviation Training Courses later expressed words of thanks of opening of the training courses. They later enjoyed the tea party while the Myawady Music Troupe staged the entertainments.

Before the ceremony, the trainee youths viewed the displays of weapons, manufactured by Myanma Tatmadaw, uniforms of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, Air), communication devices, scale models of Navy vessels and related equipment, miniature crafts and helicopters, pilot uniforms and accessories and demonstration of flight operation by Simulator.
