The streets of Guadalajara came alive as the city hosted the Balloon Parade 2025, the world’s largest balloon parade of its kind. The event celebrated the 75th anniversary of Globos Payaso, a global leader in latex balloon production. Twelve floats featuring sea creature sculptures, all made entirely from biodegradable latex balloons, paraded through the city.

International artists collaborated to design the floats under the artistic theme “The Bottom of the Sea.” Thousands of spectators gathered to witness the colorful display of creativity and balloon artistry. The parade marked the first time the event has been held in Mexico.

Organizers say the celebration reinforces Guadalajara’s growing role as a global center for innovative cultural events.
