Huawei launches new products

Chinese tech giant Huawei unveiled a series of new products at a high-profile launch ceremony on Monday.

Huawei showed off its latest products, including new smart glasses and watches, in a packed stadium amid expectations that its battered smartphone business is making a comeback. The company started selling its flagship Mate 60 series last month, with reviews indicating high 5G speeds thanks to a Chinese chip.

The company said it is focusing on a new ultra-thin tablet and the Harmony operating system. Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei's consumer business group, mentioned that their Harmony OS 4.0, which was introduced a month ago has been downloaded by over 60 million users on smartphones and tablet devices.
