Htamane Making Competition: MoNREC UM awarded the prize winning teams

With the aims at preserving Myanmar traditional culture and building teamwork spirit working together, the 16th Myanmar traditional Htamane making competition of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation was held at the Department of Forestry in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Thursday and attended by the Union Minister U KhinMaung Yi, Deputy Minister U Min Thu, permanent secretary, Directors General, Managing directors, rector, contestant teams and personnel.

First, the Union Minister viewed the traditional Htamane making competition of 11 teams including the departments, enterprises and university. Then, the first prize was awarded to No (2) Mining Enterprise team by the Union Minister, second prize to the Department of Forestry team by Deputy Minister, third prize to the Department of Mines team and the consolation prizes also were presented to the other participant teams, it’s reported.
