





The Ministry of Information hosted a Myanmar traditional Htamane-making competition at its parking lot in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn participated joyously,alongside Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung and various departmental personnel.Six teams, representing the Ministry office, Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV), Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), Printing and Publishing Department, the Media Development Department and the News and Periodicals Enterprise (NPE) competed in the spirited competition.Judges evaluated the teams based on the display of ingredients and the scoring criteria.
The event included prize presentation to the top three teams and consolation prize-winning teams. MRTV DTH satellite dishes and commemorative gifts were then presented to the judges, followed by a lucky draw for 36 participants.
The Htamane-making competitions, held across the country throughout the month of Tabodwe, were designed to preserve Myanmar’s traditional culture, foster teamwork and strengthen unity among Myanmar people.
