Hotels & Tourism Sector: Dy Minister to attend 36th meeting & 1st Forum

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe left for the Philippines to attend the 36thJoint Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia and the Pacific & the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia (36th CAP-CSA) and First UN Tourism Regional Forum on Gastronomy Tourism for Asia and the Pacific.

The delegation was seen off by concerned officials at the Yangon International Airport. The meeting and Forum which will take place from 26-28 June 2024 inCebu will include Ministerial-level talks anddiscussions on when gastronomy meets the territory Insights by Asia PacificDestinations, FAO Mountain Partnership project, food waste reduction and food tourism industry.
