Hotels and Tourism sector: MoHT Union Minister inspected hotels in Nay Pyi Taw

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is making constant effort for the Nay Pyi Taw, the capital city of the Myanmar to be a model city of the country in the memory of the international visitors, to be a tourism hub of the local and international tourists.

The Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung together with the officials visited hotels in the National Guest House Zone in the morning on January 14 and inspected the cleaning and greening tasks to be conformed to the characteristics of the capital city.

Next, the Union Minister and party visited Mingalarthiri Hotel and attended the meeting with the Nay Pyi Taw Hoteliers Association and Tourism Industry Entrepreneurs’ Association for the cleaning and greening of the hotels in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the meeting, the union minister elaborated the development of hotel zones, efforts for the “Green City, Clean City, Smart City, ministry’s effort for the Nay Pyi Taw to be the tourism hub and the cleaning and greening tasks to be carried out at the hotel zones etc.

Next, the director general of the minister’s office U Hlaing Oo clarified the cleaning tasks carried out at the hotels at the left and right sides of the Razathingaha Road and inner road and the hotels in the national guest house zone.

Then, the director general of the directorate of the hotels and tourism U Maung Maung Kyaw and Nay Pyi Taw branch In-Charge director clarified the general matters and issuing directive for the cleaning and greening taks to be implemented, it’s learnt.
