





On 3rd October, Deputy Minister for Health Dr. Aye Tun together with Shan State Ethnic Affairs Minister U Aung Kyi Win and departmental officials visited inundated HeYarYwama Station Hospital in InLe Lake, Nyaung Shwe Township, gave words of encouragement to the service personnel and provided cash assistance.
Then, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the health care service provision at Dhamma Beikman Monastery. On arrival at People’s Hospital in NanPan, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the inundated hospital area.
They then proceeded to Naung Kan Monastery and oversaw the health care service provision, gave words of encouragement to the service personnel and provided cash assistance. In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister and party visited Shwe Yay Kya Monastery in NyaungShwe Township and overviewed the health care service provision.
After hearing reports presented by the officials, the Deputy Minister coordinated necessities. Then, the Deputy Minister provided cash assistance and inspected the inundated area in hospital compound and systematic pharmaceuticals storage.
On 4th October, the Deputy Minister visited Sao San Tun People’s Hospital in Taunggyi Township and inspected Emergency and Out-patient Ward, Laboratory and patient wards. The Deputy Minister also inspected the work implementations instructed by the SAC Chairman and coordinated necessities.
Subsequently, the Deputy Minister and party proceeded to Aye Thaya Hospital and inspected the pharmaceutical storage, laboratory, maternity room and patient ward. They also inspected the Dentistry Department, operation room, X-ray room, laboratory, patient wards and staff housings in HeHo Station Hospital and Aung Pan Station Hospital in Kalaw Township.
