







State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and officials visited the Pyin Oo Lwin Military Hospital on Sunday.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and party checked on injured monks and nuns from the severe Mandalay earthquake and offered words of encouragement along with nutritious food and cash donations. They later met with injured Tatmadawmen and Myanmar Police Force members as well as their families while providing words of encouragement and distributing food and essential supplies. Cash rewards and commemorative gifts were also presented to those injured while serving national defense and security duties.
The Prime Minister and wife then comforted one monk and two civilians in the ICU and two nuns in the pediatric ward, all injured in the recent earthquake. They also provided nutritious food and cash donations to the patients.
Military hospitals in earthquake-prone areas have already treated 15 monks, and 5,016 civilians including civil service personnel, their families as outpatients. Currently, 51 monks and 476 staff, their families and civilians remain hospitalized with serious injuries. And, the medical care will continue for those injured until full recovery.
