Hospital collects suspect’s blood for further Testing

South Korean Police are investigating the deadly car crash near Seoul City Hall that killed nine people and four other injured on Monday night.

The National Forensic Service is conducting a thorough analysis of the vehicle in question. In a Tuesday briefing, the Namdaemun Police Station said the suggestion of a sudden acceleration is only what is claimed by the suspect.

It also said the driver was not believed to be under the influence of alcohol but the hospital will collect his blood for further testing. The police added that a simple drug test ran on the suspect also came back negative.
