Honouring Ceremony: Shan State Gov’t hosts dinner for outstanding students

Shan State Government hosted an honourary dinner on Tuesday evening in Taunggyi for outstanding students in Grade 11.

In his speech, Chief Minister U Aung Aung expressed words of thanks to those for participating in activities to honour the students. The Chief Minister also urged the outstanding students not to waste their time and use it effectively and to apply the knowledge and experience gained from the trip in Shan State for the national interest.

And, the Chief Minister and wife and concerned officials presented crystal trophies, awards, memorable gifts and traditional ethnic dresses to the outstanding students and concerned officials. In return, one of the outstanding students expressed words of thanks. This honouring ceremony included a dinner, stage performances and hot air balloons launching.
