Honouring Ceremony: SAC Member honours hot-air balloon experts

A ceremony was held on Tuesday to honour the hot-air balloon experts from Taunggyi who participated in the Tazaungdaing Festival featuring release of hot-air balloons at the Maravijaya Buddha Image.

In the ceremony, Member of the State Administration Council Lt. Gen Nyo Saw praised the efforts of the experts during 1 month for releasing 30 hot-air balloons safely in the Festival. He also expressed words of thanks to ministries, concerned departments, associations and experts who actively provided assistance for successfully holding the 1st ever Tazaungdaing Festival at the Maravijaya Buddha Image.

Also, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin gave words of congratulations. And, a representative of the hot-air balloon experts team expressed words of thanks. And, commemorative gifts were presented to the experts. This ceremony also included an honourary lunch reception.
